When Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland opens as the next big 3D movie, it may contribute to movie technology history, but with Alice as the central character, there's nothing rare about it. You don't need to have 3D technology, though, to appreciate the girl when you watch Alice in Wonderland online free. Though it won't be in 3D, at least it's new Alice stuff. For a black and white character drawn by illustrator John Tenniel, the girl gets around.

The latest Alice in Wonderland film, by Beauty and the Beast screenwriter Linda Woolverton, is a sequel to the original 1865 stories written by Lewis Carroll. Now a 19 year-old young woman, as portrayed by Mia Wasikowska, you'll see she falls yet again straight down a hole when you watch Alice in Wonderland online free. She can't remember, though, that she's been there before. Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter and Michael Sheens' White Rabbit are there to receive her, though, and maybe jolt her memory a bit.

She arrives just in time, too, to come to the aid of her friend, the Mad Hatter. It seems that after Alice left Wonderland, the Red Queen muscled her way into controlling all of Wonderland. Burton's movie is just the latest example of the world's affinity for Alice. There's a little bit of her influencing more pop culture fixtures than you'd imagine. Fans of TV's Lost series have seen many Alice references throughout the show's run. If you're part of that niche, you surely were reminded of Juliet's recent descent into a rabbit hole similar to the one you see watching Alice in Wonderland online free. Syfy Network based the mini-series, Alice, on, somewhat like Burton's version, an older, darker Alice. In film, the girl's practically an institution, having had her story re-told dozens of times. And as inspiration, well.....there may not have been a Dorothy to bring that house to a landing had it not been for Alice, and Neo, from The Matrix, might still be trying to figure out where he is.
