Watch Alice in Wonderland Online
It’s a logical combination, if you think about it. Director Tim Burton and Alice in Wonderland, that is. And in 3D? I’m so there. Watch Alice in Wonderland online, and even though it won’t be in 3D, you’ll get a preview of what to expect when the movie finally opens.
To put to rest any protests that a perfectly good animated film was transferred into live action, it was not. 2010’s Alice in Wonderland is an original screenplay by the screenwriter of the animated Beauty and the Beast. It’s written as a sequel to the first two “Alice” books by Lewis Carroll. In fact, if it feels like a sort of flashback to watch Alice in Wonderland online, it’s not a result of your sordid teen past. It’s probably just your recollection of a similar treatment of Peter Pan in the movie, Hook. Like in Hook, Alice is now grown up and has forgotten all about her earlier gig in Wonderland.
There’s been a lot of anticipation for this film’s release, and from watching Alice in Wonderland online, with good reason. Movie audiences will meet Mia Wasikowska, as Alice, for the first time (but not the last, for sure.....she also stars in critically acclaimed The Kids Are Alright, which recently premiered at 2010 Sundance Film Festival to outstanding reviews). Shortly after a marriage proposal, 19-year-old Alice finds a hole, and wouldn’t you know it? Head over heels, right down into the hole. At this point in the trailer, I’m thinking how much this looks like Lost, with Juliet falling down the sinkhole with the hydrogen bomb, but that’s just me. Watch Alice in Wonderland online and draw your own conclusion.
It would be just plain wrong to not mention Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter. Plain and simple, there doesn’t seem to be much that’s lovable about the character. Parents, if you’re one of the few whose now teenage daughter just will not get past her Jack Sparrow phase, sit her down to watch Alice in Wonderland online. You’ll be finishing the new paint job on her room by the end of the week.
